I attended a Women in Wilderness course with Adventure Southland. It's something I would recommend to anyone looking to step outside of their comfort zone. This place is awesome and the team are amazing!

During the winter our agribusiness booked in with Adventure Southland for team building activities both inside and out on the ropes course. Amy was wonderful to deal with when making a booking and discussing options for the day. The venue itself had what we needed in terms of technology for a powerpoint presentation and a kitchen for refreshments. We had really positive feedback from our team who enjoyed themselves and got to do something a little bit different. I would recommend Adventure Southland to other businesses who are interested in doing team building. Thanks again! 😊

I use Adventure Southland a few times a year with my students. They participate in team building activities, caving and low and high ropes over several different days, so we spend time with different instructors. The staff are always awesome to work with and get the best from my students. We are very lucky to have an organisation in Southland that can cover a variety of different outdoor adventure activities.

The fun, friendly but challenging instructors are always are delight on my experiences at Adventure Southland. I really enjoyed the day out with my work colleagues. A great way to start the year together partaking in team building exercises out of the classroom.

Had an awesome experience with new owner Amy, she looked after us very well and made us feel like we could conquer anything! Can’t wait to come back another day and try some of the other high ropes activities.

Such an awesome place. I have had several interactions with the staff due to many school camps. They are always super encouraging and genuinely fantastic people who are super skilled as gently pushing people outside their comfort zone. We went to their birthday celebration and had an awesome day as a family and were so supported by the staff. They do an amazing job and am excited to do more out there in the future hopefully.

My Daughter took part in the Holiday Programme today with great anticipation, however wanted for me to hang round until she had "warmed up" to all the new people and experiences she was about to partake in. While waiting, it was so wonderful to hear the conversations and encouragement from the Guides/Champions. The virtues and expectations of what it means to give a challenge a go - no matter how hard or scary it may seem at first - was supported and articulated throughout the day...when I came back just before the end of the day, the same messages were still being reinforced, and there was such pride in each child's own Capabilities and leap in their self belief and "can-do" attitude, which was so awesome to see and hear after only one day at Adventure Southland! Thanks team, you provide a fabulous service and are excellent role models...we will definitely be back!

Great facility. The instructors are world class. They are fun, patient and very caring towards the kids. I was amazed they called each child by their own name after only just meeting them. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

I am the Regional Coordinator of Parent to Parent Southland. Our not for profit organisation supports families who have a child with an illness, health impairment or extra need. On Saturday 10th September we held a Sibling Day for the brothers and sisters of these children. 22 young people between the ages of 8 & 18 participated in the ropes course at Adventure Southland. What an amazing day. All the participants had a wonderful time. I want to thank the two instructors who encouraged these children to step outside of their comfort zone. Their professionalism and patience was outstanding. So many of these children had never experienced doing something like this before and many were nervous. This event is top of my list to do again, this time with the children who have the health impairment or disability. I highly recommend Adventure Southland. Thanks again.

My daughter absolutely loved the Bushcraft day trip - can’t wait to go on the next one!! Also loved the onsite activities morning she attended and practically needed dragged away 😃
